My first week abroad.
When I flew in I spent some time with a good friend Keeleigh. We discussed how long it must have been since I saw her last, maybe 10+ years?!!! Bonkers! I spent the afternoon getting my bearings, a few drinks by the waterfront and being introduced to all of Keeleigh’s beautiful friends (whom I am grateful to call my own friends now!!).
The four girls I stayed with welcomed me into their home with open arms. We cooked dinner together, chatted in the spa together and laughed a bunch!
During my week in Queenstown, I attended a four day music festival….Snow Machine. JEEE WHIZZZ, what an experience that was. Something I would recommend to anyone. Four days filled with snowboarding, dancing on top of the snow and singing at the top of my lungs in a sweaty mosh pit!
I have had a blast. However, the late nights have definitely caught up to me, and I’m keen for a chill week with a family friend and to really take in all the beautiful scenery New Zealand has to offer.
I could see myself doing a season here on my return home….hmmm we shall see!
Sounds like you are having a good time. Stay safe and enjoy. Oh by the way you are about 30 phone calls behind keeping your dad and me updated on your movements. I knew I should have installed a tracker. 😁
